I Just Want To Say Journals are the only selection of journals that turn your most meaningful words and feelings into albums you can keep forever. They’re here to provide a moment of stress-free and careful guidance for people celebrating life’s big moments anywhere in the world. Letting everyone write truly meaningful words for their loved ones.

Founded by a seasoned officiant with over a decade of officiating weddings, Liz Rae made it her mission to create journals that not only capture these moments but also inspire and guide others to do the same.

Making vows as unique as you are

We worked closely with Liz to create a diverse range of journals that is LGBTQ+ friendly and packed full of prompts that make vows a joy to write.

The journals range from wedding vows to officiant and speech, each with different prompts for your needs.

Elegantly crafted with a handwritten touch

Our brand name is presented in a handwritten Marina Script font, inspired by the romantic charm of love letters of the past. The logo features a clean, fixed border, making it versatile for use on various backgrounds and ensuring it stands out.

The logo mark is an abstract representation of what I Just Want to Say embodies. Think of it as an open book or the tip of a pencil to reflect the product offered. The rough, hand-drawn lines reflect the 'working it out' nature of journaling.

In addition to the primary logo, we've also designed a secondary logo and a full suite of visual assets and guidelines.

Celebrating love with joyful warmth

The journal cover and decorative assets draw inspiration from confetti, symbolising the joy and celebration of a couple’s happiest moments. I wanted the cover to feel festive, inviting, and warm, capturing the essence of a celebration. The colour palette is bright and cheerful, reflecting the excitement of a couple’s big day while creating a comforting, cosy atmosphere to jot down memories and moments.

Thoughtfully designed

The prompts created by the founder were thoughtfully designed by me, offering guidance from writing your first draft to drawing inspiration from famous love letters of the past to writing your own. This includes memory pages where couples can record their favourite moments and attach photos.

Photography style

Photography needed to be inclusive and representative to celebrate couples from all backgrounds, capturing real moments of connection and emotion between people. This meant showcasing heartfelt expressions through writing and highlighting the products with clear, vibrant photography that exudes warmth and positivity.
