Steplab is a fully customisable professional development platform and app, packed with step-by-step content based on the science of learning and modelled by 100s of in-classroom videos. It’s a tool designed to help teachers and mentors improve through instructional coaching. Coaches observe lessons and meet with teachers to provide feedback and discuss the next steps.
We retain key brand elements like the logo, established colours, and illustrations, while further developing its visual identity. The goal was to refresh and enhance the brand as the business grows, conveying that the platform is trustworthy and approachable with a friendly vibe.

Bringing Steplab to life
I assisted the Creative Director in designing the website from wireframes, ensuring consistent alignment across all pages with the brand's look and feel in Figma.
My role also included illustrating and creating animations that showcased and promoted Steplab’s platform, enhancing the user experience and driving engagement. This combination of design and animation helped bring the platform to life.
Expanding reach
I’m also responsible for designing the brand guidelines and strategy, ensuring that they are easy to adopt and consistent whilst making it visually engaging to flip through. This has since expanded to working on a range of digital and printed collateral, further translating the brand across various formats.
